MAINTENANCE
3. If the free play distance needs
adjusting, loosen the lock nut å
(under rubber boot) and turn the
adjusting nut ∫ in or out until
the free play specification is met.
Then tighten the lock nut in
place.
NOTICE
Do not over-tighten the brake
Y-909D
cables. Over-tightening will
increase brake wear and affect
overall performance of PTV.
Premature brake wear can result.
Replacing a Headlight
Bulb
If the headlight burns out replace it
as follows:
1. Remove the bulb holder 1 and
bulb 2 by removing the three
screws 3 located on the back of
the bezel 4.
2. Disconnect the wire connectors
from the bulb.
3. Remove the two screws 5

located on the side of the bulb
holder 1 to gain access to the
headlight bulb 2.
4. Insert a new bulb 2 into the
bulb holder 1 and secure with
the two bulb holder screws 5.
Torque to 3 ~ 4.5 Nm,
0.3 ~ 0.45 m•kg (27 ~ 40 in•lb).
5. Reattach the bulb holder 1 to
the bezel 4 and torque to
3 ~ 4.5 Nm, 0.3 ~ 0.45 m•kg
(27 ~ 40 in•lb).
