Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise WARNUNG Die Installation darf nur durch geschultes Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden. Installationen nur im spannungslosen Zustand vornehmen. Dafür z.B. die Batterie vom Bordnetz trennen, beachten Sie dabei bitte die Vorgaben des Fahrzeugherstellers. • Verwenden Sie niemals sicherheitsrelevante Schrauben, Bolzen oder sonstige Befestigungspunkte an Lenkung, Bremssystem oder anderen Komponenten, um Ihre eigene Fahrsicherheit nicht zu gefährden. -

Sorgen Sie für genügend Luftzirkulation um Schäden an den Gerätekomponenten zu vermeiden. Ziehen Sie bitte den Stecker der Stromversorgung, wenn: a) Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzen b) Sie das Gerät reinigen möchten (benutzen Sie keine feuchten- oder Sprüh-Reiniger. Verwenden Sie nur trockene Tücher zur Reinigung). -

Installation Das Interface dient zum Anschluss einer externen Bild und Ton Quelle und kann an folgenden Navigationssystemen eingesetzt werden: Audi 16:9 DVD Navigation Plus RNS-E ohne originalen TV Tuner Installationsanleitung 1417 1. Das Navigationsgerät ausbauen und vom Bordnetz trennen. 2. Die Kabel mit losen Enden vom 1417 wie folgt anschliessen:... -

Anpassung von Farbsättigung, Kontrast, Helligkeit Durch Brücken des jeweils mittleren Lötauges mit + oder - kann die jeweilige Funktion eingestellt werden: 1: K=Kontrast 2: S=Farbsättigung 3: B=Helligkeit Aktivierung des AV Eingangs Die Aktivierung des AV-Eingangs erfolgt durch drücken auf „CD/TV" (1). Danach wird das Menü „Quelle“ mit der rechten, oberen Taste (2) über dem Drehknopf angewählt. -

ACHTUNG! Alle Angaben erfolgen ohne Gewähr! Veränderungen an Hard- und Software des Navigationssystems erfolgen auf eigenes Risiko, Updates am Besten nur von einer Fachwerkstatt durchführen lassen! Das Multimedia Interface 1417 ist aktiv, solange ein Video (FBAS) Signal anliegt! Es ist daher immer simultan zum Zustand der angeschlossenen Quelle ein- oder ausgeschaltet! Aus diesem Grund sollte die angeschlossene Quelle mit dem Signal für Zündung ein- und ausgeschaltet werden, um ein Entleeren der Fahrzeugbatterie zu verhindern. -

General safety instructions WARNINGS Installation requires special knowledge. Do not install the unit yourself. For safe and reliable installation, consult a dealer having special knowledge. Installation may only be done during idle status. Disconnect the battery from the car´s electrical system, for example. -

Protect the unit against any kind of heat. Never mount it close to heat sources. This product should never be placed near or over a radiator or under the sun. This product should not be placed in a built-in installation such as a bookcase or rack unless proper ventilation is provided. -

Installation The interface is intended to connect an external audio and video source with the following navigation systems: Audi 16:9 DVD Navigation Plus RNS-E without original TV tuner Installation 1417 1. Remove and disconnect the navigation system. 2. Connect the wires with loose ends from 1417 as follows:... - Page 12 Adjustment of colour, contrast, brightness: These adjustments can be made with a bridge from the respective centre solder pad to + or –. 1: K=contrast 2: S=colour saturation 3: B=brightness Activating the AV input: While pressing the “CD/TV” key (1), the “source” menu is indicated. With another press on the upper right key (2), located above the rotary knob (3), the now shown menu offers the new added menu point “TV”.

ATTENTION! All information without warranty! Manipulating the navigation systems’ hard- and software is based on your own risk. We advise you making updates not by yourself. Please contact an authorized dealer! While a video (CVBS) signal is fed in, the multimedia interface 1417 is activated! Therefore it is always switched on or off simultaneously with the connected source.
