Replacing the Maintenance Kit

The maintenance kit contains a maintenance roller that keeps the surface of the imaging drum clean
and oiled.
When the maintenance kit requires replacement, a message appears on the control panel.
Note: When the printer control panel displays a message that the maintenance kit is low, order a
new maintenance kit.
Order supplies from your channel partner, Xerox representative, or go to the Xerox
your printer model.

To replace the maintenance kit:
1. Open maintenance door D.
WARNING: Internal parts of the printer can be hot. Use caution when doors and covers are open.
From the maintenance kit slot, remove the maintenance kit, labeled A. For full installation and disposal
information, follow the illustrated instructions included with the maintenance kit.
