1. Power On/Off – Hard Power On/Off, use the on/off
button shown on page 5 or the power button on the
remote shown on page 7 to turn the unit to stand-by
before turning this button off. We recommend only
turning this button off if the TV will not be used for a
long period of time.

3. VGA – PC input
4. PC Audio and HDMI Audio – Sound input for VGA
and HDMI
5. A 2 YPbPr2 – Component 2 input and AV2 input and
audio input
6. A 1 YPbPr1 – Component 1 input and AV1 input and
audio input
7. S-Video – S-Video input. Use AV1 for S-Video sound
input.
8. SCART Input – Only available in certain models.
9. VHF/UHF – Antenna Input (75 Ohm VHF/UHF)
10. POWER – AC power input

Remote Control Functions
POWER: Power on/off button; press once to turn the TV
on and press again to turn the TV off.
SOURCE: Signal source selection button - select input
source. On some models, this button is labelled TV/AV.
MUTE: Mute button, press once to turn sound off. Press
again to turn sound back on.
SLEEP: Sleep timer button – schedule the TV to turn
off at pre-set times of 15mins , 30mins, 45mins, 60mins,
90mins and 120mins.
NICAM/A2: NICAM button - select different broadcast
sound system (NICAM is not available in Australia).
STILL: Still button of TV menu. Press once to freeze pic-
ture - press again to release the picture.
16: 9: Aspect Ratio Button - choose between 16:9 ,4:3,
zoom1 and zoom2 mode.(not all formats are available in
PIP/POP mode)
Noise reduction (NR.): Picture noise reduction button
- improve picture quality with different levels of 3D noise
reduction .
SURROUND: Virtual Surround Button - turn on/off virtu-
al surround sound simulation.
PICTURE: Picture colour mode - select from NORMAL
, SOFT, VIVID , and USER.
SOUND: Sound mode button - choose from NORMAL,
MOVIE , NEWS , and USER.

DISPLAY: Message display button - display current so-
urce and channel .
0,1~9: TV channel selection button.
-/--: TV channel range selection button - select TV chan-
nel by entering 1,2 or 3 digits.
: Previous channel button - return to the previous
channel watched.
Volume (VOL) t/u: Volume up and down button.
When in a menu , these buttons behave as the OK/SE-
LECT buttons.
Channel (CH) p/q: Channel up and down button.
: OSD menu button - enter TV setup menu . If alre-
ady in a menu, this button EXITS the menu.
PIP/POP Size (SIZE): PIP size selection button - select
three sizes for the sub-window.
POSITION: PIP position selection button - move the
sub-window to four pre-set positions.
WINDOW: Focus window button, which swaps the focus
between the main and the secondary window.
SWAP: PIP/POP swap function - swap the sources of
the main and sub-windows around.
On/Off (ON/OFF): PIP on/off button - Picture-in-Picture
and Picture-on-Picture (two windows side-by-side).
