OPERATION Setup The laser mounts to any 5/8” x 11 tripod (flathead or domed) or can rest on any stable flat surface (floor, bricks, etc.). Position tripod, attach laser, then adjust tripod until rough leveled (within ±4° self-leveling range). Turning on the Laser Press the on/off key to power-up the laser.
After it has releveled, check if the beam elevation has changed from its original benchmark position. Press the H.I. key again to return to H.I. alert. Windy mode can be on on or off when H.I alert is used. Matching Slope (EAGL 3000S only) The EAGL 3000S can be used to match a single slope in X axis, up to 6% positive or 6% negative slope.

Calibration should be checked regularly. For convenience you should establish a range for routine and quick checks. Your AGL dealer can assist you in setting up one. Allow at least 15 minutes of warm-up time before checking or adjusting calibration.

Using the Detector 1. Press On/Off key to turn on the detector. 2. Press top key to select the accuracy (deadband) and middle key to select sound level. (The detector retains in memory the last settings used.) 3. Turn the detection window towards the laser beam, and move the detector up or down according to the information given on the LCD display.
