5.5 Viewing Hardware and Software Updates

To view the last hardware and software updates:
1. In the Main Fibermux menu, choose option 4, Version information. The Version Information screen appears
(see Figure 5-14).

0.Exit.
2. Choose 0, Exit, to exit to the Main Fibermux menu.

5.6 Downloading Software

To download a new software revision:
1. In the Main Fibermux menu, choose option 5, Software download. The Software Downloading screen
appears (see Figure 5-15).

Enter a choice :
2. Choose option 1, Download new software.
3. Type flash and press <Enter> to confirm downloading. The mux resets itself and erases the flash memory.
4. When prompted, enter the downloading command. The new software version is loaded to the flash memory
and the mux is initialized.
5. Choose 0, Exit, to exit to the Main Fibermux menu.
