Chapter 3
The server setup will vary according to how the ETERNUS Disk storage systems and server are
to be connected. Only Fabric connections are supported.
The Fibre Channel card Instance name, target WWN, and target ID information are necessary.
Check each item and enter them in the list. Edit the configuration file according to those informa-
tion and make settings.
Refer to the following to set.

Determine the following information for each Fibre Channel card installed in the server and enter
it into a copy of the "WWN instance management table for the server" (provided in
Management Table Template" (page
