  • Page 2 Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids. • Make sure cover, basket, stem and cord are properly attached before coffeemaker is plugged in. No part of the coffeemaker should be removed during the brewing cycle as scalding may occur.
  • Page 3 While use of an extension cord is not recommended, if you must use one, make sure the cord has the same or higher wattage as the coffeemaker (wattage is stamped on the underside of the base). To avoid pulling, tripping or entanglement, position the extension cord so that it does not hang over the edge of the counter, table or other area.

  • Page 5 1. With basket and stem removed, fill coffeemaker with COLD water to desired level using the cup markings on inside of coffeemaker as a guide. Do not make less than 12 or more than maximum capacity of the coffeemaker at one time.
  • Page 6 Drain water from inside of coffeemaker and dry. 5. Clean outside of coffeemaker with a damp cloth and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive metal scouring pads or cleansers on outside of coffeemaker as scratching will occur.

Any failed part of the appliance will be repaired or replaced without charge at West Bend® Housewares, LLC discretion. This warranty applies to indoor household use only.
