Changing the batteries

Thermostat

The thermostat requires 2 x AAA
batteries (supplied). The batteries
are designed to give approximately
one years use.
To change
thermostat must be removed from
the wall. First, loosen the two
screws under the thermostat and
swing the thermostat up and away
from the wall plate.
Rechargeable batteries may not be
used as their voltage is too low
(1.2V not 1.5V)

Radiator Valve

If possible do not remove the valve from the radiator to change the
batteries. If the valve is removed it will re-enter its weeklong learning
mode.

The radiator valves require 2 x AA
batteries. Access these under the cover
and use your nail to release the catch.
Batteries will last one year under normal
operation.
Rechargeable batteries may not be used
as their voltage is too low (1.2V not 1.5V)
