    The system can be expanded by means of the Intercom Wire accessory, which allows interphone communication via cable with a Nolan N-Com helmet equipped with Basic Kit. If both helmets are equipped with an N-Com Bluetooth Kit, in addition to connection with a Bluetooth cell phone, communication between the two helmets is also possible in wireless interphone mode.

    4. BASIC FUNCTIONS All the functions offered by the N-Com system are activated by using 3 buttons, “ ”, “on” and “ ”. Every command is confirmed by a special beep, which varies depending on the requested function. This way you can use all the functions with the helmet raised.

    Turn off both the cell phone and the Bluetooth Kit2 system, then turn them both on again in order to save the affiliation data N.B.: If the Bluetooth Kit2 device does not connect automatically the next time it is turned on, perform the first connection from the cell phone, selecting the N-Com device from the list and pressing “Connect”.

    Bluetooth Kit system versions prior to version 2.1 only allow this use with significantly shorter ranges. N.B.: The Bluetooth kit2 system is also compatible with a Nolan helmet equipped with Bluetooth kit, Bluetooth kit2, Bluetooth Kit X-Series or Bluetooth Kit MULTI.

    N.B.: In case a cell phone was already affiliated prior to the affiliation of the Bluetooth Kit systems, make sure that this affiliation is still working. Otherwise, repeat the affiliation with the cell phone. All affiliations are stored even when the helmets are turned off, and they are maintained until the helmets are turned back on.

    (audio in Mono mode), 9. SATELLITE NAVIGATORS Nolan’s N-Com communication system is compatible with the most popular satellite navigators for motorcycles. Connection with a satellite navigator can occur via cable (through the special Multimedia Wire) or via Bluetooth.

    You can listen in Stereo mode with the following configurations: • Bluetooth kit2 + Basic Kit2 + Multimedia Wire2 • Bluetooth kit2 + Basic Kit2 + Bluetooth receiver equipped with A2DP protocol. In all other configurations, listening will be in mono mode. A second helmet connected in interphone mode via cable or Bluetooth will be able to hear the audio coming from the pilot in mono mode.
