4. The calendar appears on the screen
for 5 seconds. It shows the current
month and your treatment summary.
For more information on the calendar
screen, see "Tracking Your Treatment"
on page 19.
5. Next, the 20-minute countdown timer
appears on the screen. EXOGEN
automatically begins the ultrasound
treatment.
Note: The first treatment needs to be com-
pleted in order for the time to remain set.
6. A treatment symbol flashes as the
timer counts down. This means you
are treating your fracture. (Note: To
stop EXOGEN in the middle of the
20-minute treatment, press and hold
the button until EXOGEN turns off.)
If your EXOGEN has an error during
treatment, see "Troubleshooting" on
page 27.

7. When the countdown timer reaches
zero, EXOGEN beeps and shows
the treatment complete checkmark
for 5 seconds. Then, EXOGEN beeps
and turns itself off.
