Recording/reproduction function
Load a low reflection disc and after confirming the audio output in the normal reproduction mode, execute recording/reproduction.
Does the recording function fail from the starting address?
YES
Is an RF waveform available at No.1 pin of IC1201 or TP1201
during reproduction after recording?
NO
Does the level of No.3, 26 and 39 pins of IC1401 change
between recording and reproduction?
YES
Is an RF pattern provided at No.50 pin of IC1201?
YES
Check IC1300 — 1302 and CN1300.
Is an output waveform available at No. 1 and 7 pins of IC4 and No. 1
and 7 pins of IC5 while recording the LINE input in the normal mode?
YES
Is an input waveform applied to No.3 and 5 pins of IC1701?
YES
Check around IC1701 and No.70 — 73 pins of IC1201.

Check that the disc is not in the recording inhibited status.

Check around IC1401.
NO
Check IC1201 for proper soldering.

Check around IC4 and IC5 and also check the REC
LEVEL volume.
