High-Resolution Audio to re-create music the way artists intended it to be heard:
High-Resolution Audio uses twice the resolution (96 kHz) of normal (44kHz) audio when recording the
sound, and in doing so creates a much more faithful reproduction of the original audio. Capturing hard-
to-hear but incredibly important harmonics that can be missed by normal recordings gives High-
Resolution songs a noticeably improved sound that is almost impossible to tell apart from true analogue.
Check out the graphs below that illustrate the greater frequency with which original analogue
soundwaves are sampled to prepare High-Resolution Audio, as compared to CDs.

To make the most of the High-Resolution Audio capabilities, try out Sony's latest High-Resolution
headphones such as the MDR-1A range, which is useful because, thanks to the new "DSEE HX"
upscaling technology, Xperia Z3 also has the ability to upscale the quality of your existing music (MP3,
