The Defy Thermofan 631 T may not be getting hot after changing the plate due to several possible reasons:
1. Electrical Connection Issue – The new plate may not be properly connected to the stove’s electrical system. 2. Faulty Plate – The replacement plate may be defective or incompatible with the stove model. 3. Control Setting – The stove may be set to a mode that does not generate heat, such as the defrost mode, which only circulates air at room temperature. 4. Blown Fuse or Tripped Circuit Breaker – The stove’s fuse or circuit breaker may have tripped during the replacement. 5. Internal Component Failure – A wiring issue or malfunctioning thermostat could prevent the plate from heating.
Check the connections, ensure the correct mode is selected, and inspect the fuse or circuit breaker. If the issue persists, professional servicing may be required.
