The handshake icon ( ) means your are connected to the network with the SSID next to the icon. (the example above shows the HWU- G1A is connected to a network with the name Hawking.) If you wish to connect to a different network, select the network you wish to connect to, either double click on it or click on the connect button. - Page 22 Mac OS SECURITY If your wireless network requires a security key you may enter it in the Encryption Settings tab.
