Installation & Wiring
The HR22 connects to the autopilot via the SimNet high-speed bus network. A bulkhead socket and a
three-way joiner is supplied, to enable the HR22 to connect to the SimNet bus, and be easily unplugged
when not in use.
The rear port of the bulkhead socket connects to the three-way joiner via an interlink cable. The SimNet
cable from the Tillerpilot socket assembly (Fig 6), or from the Wheelpilot junction box (Fig 7), also plugs
into the three-way joiner. The third port is used to connect to the rest of the SimNet bus (if fitted) via an
interconnecting SimNet cable (available as an optional accessory). The HR22 is plugged into the SimNet
port on the front of the bulkhead socket. It can also plug into any available SimNet port on the bus.
NOTE – If the pilot and HR22 are not connected to other SimNet equipment, 12v power must be supplied
using the SimNet power cable provided (+12v DC [Red] and 0v [Black]).
NOTE – A weatherproof plug is provided to protect the front of the bulkhead socket when the HR22 is
not in use.
