Router work modes

Router can work in one of the four modes. Router's work mode should be selected basing on
the used Internet connection, access device (modem) supplied by ISP and role the router will
perform in the local network. Below, you can find description of all four modes, which should
make choice much easier. To change currently used mode, use MODE button located at the side
of the device.

– wired connection
– wireless connection

3G Router Mode

This is default work mode of the router, in which router acts as the Internet gateway.
Connection with Internet is accomplished with use of the 3G modem connected to router's USB
port. Local network computers connects to router via wireless Wi-Fi network. Additionally, one
computer can be connected to router via network cable (twisted-pair).
ISP's 3G signal

Wireless AP Mode

In this mode router acts as the wireless network access point (AP) and is connected via network
cable (twisted-pair) to a router performing role of the Internet gateway. Connection with
Internet network is accomplished with use of the ISP's modem, to which router-gateway is
connected. Local network computers connects to router via wireless Wi-Fi network.
