Any electromechanical device occasionally requires some troubleshooting. However, most of the problems that
may arise can usually be solved with a bit of thought and common sense. Many of these problems occur because
the batteries are not fully charged or because the batteries are worn down and can no longer hold a charge.
DIAGNOSTIC FAULT CODES
The diagnostic fault codes for your scooter are designed to help you perform basic troubleshooting quickly and
easily. A diagnostic flash code will flash from the status LED in the event one of the conditions listed below
develops. Your scooter will also emit a beep code to indicate the system fault.
NOTE: Your scooter will not run unless the fault code condition is resolved and the scooter has been
turned off, then turned back on.

Questions and answers
my scooter left out over night no it wont run turn the starter key no response
Your Pride Mobility Colt scooter may not start after being left out overnight due to one of the following reasons:
1. Low Battery Charge – If the battery charge is too low, the scooter will not operate. Try charging the batteries as soon as possible.
2. High Battery Voltage – If the battery voltage is too high, or the charger is still connected, unplug the charger and restart the scooter.
3. Manual Freewheel Lever Position – If the manual freewheel lever is in the forward (freewheel) position, push it to the rear (drive) position and restart the scooter.
4. Throttle Control Lever Position – If the throttle control lever is not centered at startup, return it to the center position, turn the scooter off, and then back on.
5. Circuit Breaker Tripped – If the main circuit breaker has tripped, reset it. If it trips repeatedly, the batteries may need charging or testing.
If the problem persists, contact an authorized Pride Dealer for assistance.
