    1000 Chlorine reduction The PURITY C water fi lter system has been tested according to NSF/ANSI 42 for reduction of chlo- rine. The concentration of chlorine in water entering the system was reduced to a concentration less than or equal to the permissible limit for water leaving the system, as specifi ed in NSF/ANSI 42.

    System Tested and Certifi ed by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standard 42 for the reduction of Chlorine taste and odor. The PURITY C Water Filter System is used to remove carbonate hardness (temporary hardness/ alkalinity)* from drinking water to prevent limescale deposits in downstream appliances. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
