TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

Check the following chart before requesting service.
SYMPTOMS

No po wer.
Although the po wer is on,
the TV/VCR does not

CAUSE
The AC power cor d is not connected.
Cassette is not inser ted.
TIMER button is depressed.
TV station e xperiencing pr oblems.
Picture control is not adjusted.

Antenna (CA TV) connector is not
connected or possib le local interf er-
ence.

POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS
Connect the A C power cor d to the
AC outlet.
Inser t a video cassette .
Press the TIMER button.
Try another c hannel.
Check picture contr ol adjustments.
Check for sour ce of reception
disturbance .
Check CATV connection or
VHF/UHF antenna, reposition
or rotate antenna.
Try another c hannel.
Check picture contr ol adjustments.
Check for sour ce of reception
disturbance .
Check CATV connection or VHF/
UHF antenna, reposition or rotate
antenna.
