If the remote control for the Toshiba 37E200U stops turning the TV on and off, try the following steps:

1. Check the Remote Sensor – Ensure the remote control is pointed at the TV's remote sensor.
2. Power Cycle the TV – Unplug the TV power cord for a few seconds and then plug it back in.
3. Replace the Batteries – Insert new batteries in the remote control.
4. Use the TV's Power Button – Press the power button on the TV to rule out remote issues.
5. Reset the TV – If the issue persists, perform a reset by entering the PIN code, selecting "Yes" when prompted, and unplugging the TV after it turns off. Then, plug it back in.

If the problem continues, the remote may need to be replaced.
