Hard Disk Drive

Removing the Hard Disk Drive
To remove the hard disk drive, follow the steps below and refer to figures 4-16 and 4-17.
1. Turn the computer's power off. Disconnect the AC power cord and all external
cables connected to the computer.
2. Remove the battery pack, optional PCMCIA card, optional memory module, and
diskette drive or CD ROM drive as described in sections 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, and 4.5 or
4.6.
3. Remove two M2.5x6 screws securing the HDD frame to the computer.
4. Pull the frame forward by its handle to disconnect the HDD.
5. Remove the frame with the HDD.
