The alarm keeps going off

The alarm on the Invacare Platinum 5 may keep going off due to one or more of the following reasons:
1. System Failure: - Overheating caused by blocked filters or air intake. Ensure filters are clean and the unit is at least three inches away from walls, furniture, or draperies. - Insufficient power at the electrical outlet. Avoid using extension cords and move the unit to another outlet or circuit. - Internal repairs may be required. Contact the service provider.
2. Low Flow Alarm: - Kinked or blocked tubing, cannula, or humidifier. Inspect for blockages, clean, or replace the item. - Flowmeter set too low. Reset the flowmeter to the prescribed flow rate. If the flow rate required is below 0.5 L/min, use a Pediatric Flowmeter.
These issues can trigger alarms, and the respective solutions should address them.

Questions and answers
The alarm keeps going off
The alarm on the Invacare Platinum 5 may keep going off due to one or more of the following reasons:
1. System Failure:
- Overheating caused by blocked filters or air intake. Ensure filters are clean and the unit is at least three inches away from walls, furniture, or draperies.
- Insufficient power at the electrical outlet. Avoid using extension cords and move the unit to another outlet or circuit.
- Internal repairs may be required. Contact the service provider.
2. Low Flow Alarm:
- Kinked or blocked tubing, cannula, or humidifier.
