AcuteB2 versions with LiFe battery. Profoto Air Profoto Air is a system for convenient wireless synchronization and remote control of flash generators. The Profoto Air system is operating on one of eight selectable radio channels on the 2.4 GHz radio frequency band. The Profoto Air system can be used world-wide. -

Because of their special construction it is possible to apply the same chargers for LiFe and Pb (lead acid) batteries; this simplifies the combined use of new and old battery generators and allows owners of previous Profoto battery generators to update their packs with the new LiFe batteries. -

90 W standard halogen lamp. The Profoto Adapter 85 W can be connected to the generator for unlimited usage of modeling light. When the Profoto Adapter 85 W is connected, no power will be discharged from the battery for the modeling light. -
Page 11: Radio Operation
The Profoto Air radio receiver is turned on/off with the Radio On/Off Button [12]. The Pocket Wizard radio receiver is always in operation while the generator is powered on. When the Pocket Wizard system is used, it is recommended to turn off the Profoto Air system. -

The generator automatically shuts down if the battery level is too low, to protect it from deep battery discharge. The 40 A fuse mounted on the battery cassette protects it from short circuit damage. www.profoto.com... -
Page 13: Reliability Testing - The R-Test
After the test, the equipment is examined to verify that all parts have kept a normal operating temperature and are not malfunctioning in any way. All Profoto products are subject to the R-test prior to shipping. -

2. Set the Photocell Switch [7] to SLAVe. Sync via radio – Profoto Air 1. Press and hold down the Radio On/Off Button [12] to turn on the Profoto Air receiver. The Channel Indicator [14] of the previously used channel will be illuminated. -

Charging the battery in place in the generator: 1. Connect the Profoto Charger 1A or the Profoto Charger 2A to the Charge Socket [2] on the generator. The generator can be used during the battery charging. To use the AcuteB2 while charging we recommend the 2A charger that will increase the operating time considerably. -
