No response when activate the autopilot. See pictures
The Simrad AP26 autopilot may not be responding when activated due to the following possible reasons:
1. Rudder Feedback Failure – Check all connections and replace the rudder feedback unit if necessary.
2. No Response to Rudder Command – Verify all connections, inspect the rudder feedback transmission link, check the drive unit motor/brushes, and if needed, replace the Autopilot Computer Power PCB.
3. Rudder Too Slow – Look for mechanical obstructions, check for air in the hydraulic system, bleed the system, or replace with a bigger pump unit.
4. Power PCB Issues – If the rudder moves only in one direction, check solenoid connections and replace the Autopilot Computer Power PCB if faulty.
