To assemble the Thane Fitness Total FLEX machine with the leg extension:

1. Assemble the Total FLEX (without leg extension):
- Open the Total FLEX as described in Section E up to step 5.
- Align the curved brackets of the Power Pod with the holes in the square tube under the Power Pod Seat.
- Use the 2 bolts with spring washers and the Allen wrench provided to secure the brackets.

2. Assemble the Leg Extender (optional):
- Insert the Upper and Lower Roller Pipes into the Leg Extender holes.
- Slide the Foam Rollers over the Roller Pipes. Use the larger Foam Roller on the longer Upper Roller Pipe.

3. Adjust the Foam Roller:
- Pull off one Foam Roller and remove the Pipe from the Extender Tube.
- Choose one of the 4 holes to position the Foam Roller correctly on your shin.
- Reinsert the Pipe and Roller.

4. Attach the Leg Extender:
- Pull the Lock Pin under the Power Pod Seat.
- Insert the Attachment Tube of the Leg Extender into the Receptor Tube.
- Release the Lock Pin and ensure it fully engages.

5. Set Leg Extender Length:
- Choose one of the 2 settings on the Leg Extender to match your leg length.

6. Insert the Foot Plate:
- Hold the Foot Plate at an angle and insert its lip section into the Cross Pipe slot on the Power Pod Seat.
- Lower the Foot Plate to the floor and ensure it's securely in place.

7. Adjust the Seats:
- Adjust the seat positions according to the exercise instructions on the Exercise Chart.
