Make sure the Erase Protection tab is in the position that allows recording. If not, slide the tab. Some cassettes have removable tabs. If the tab has been removed, cover the hole with adhesive tape. The cassette holder can’t be opened while the camcorder is in the record mode. -

VIDEO RECORDING Manual White Balance Adjustment (M.W.B.) The white balance is usually adjusted automatically. However, the more advanced camcorder operator would prefer to control this function manually and achieve a more professional colour/tint reproduction. ACCESS MENU SCREEN Turn the Select Dial to any position except AUTO MENU Jog Dial LOCK, then press the MENU Jog Dial. - Page 35 PREPARE WHITE OBJECT Point the camcorder at a white, flat object such as a sheet of white paper.
