ThinkPad USB Portable Secure Hard Drives - 160GB and 320GB options physically secure your
valuable data in case of theft or loss. Optimized for safeguarding essential data while on-the-go,
the ThinkPad USB Portable Secure Hard Drive offers high-level 128-bit Advanced Encryption
Standard (AES) security within a slim, lightweight, self-powered, easy-to-use design. These
options also work with Rescue and Recovery
Rescue and Recovery® is a complete image recovery solution that helps protect against data
loss in the event of a software or hardware failure by enabling recovery to a previously saved
image. These bootable drives, together with Rescue and Recovery software, allow straight-
forward recovery of your system image and data.
These drives incorporate a USB 2.0 interface for high-speed data transfers and a backward-
compatible with USB 1.1 (at USB 1.1 transfer speeds). They offer high-capacity storage in a
small, lightweight, and completely portable device without the need for an ac power adapter.
Driverless installation under Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Windows Vista makes these
drives very easy to use, and facilitates file transfers between systems. The ThinkPad USB
Portable Secure Hard Drives - 160GB and 320GB options also enable:
