You can keep the TIM-01 UPB Timer by your bedside to manually turn off your child’s radio or night light or to dim your bedside lamp. You can turn on ALL lights connected to Lamp Modules and Wall Switch Modules with the touch of a button if you hear a suspicious noise at night. TIM-01 User Manual The TIM-01 UPB Timer can operate as an Emergency or Panic button, turning on all lights in the house to indicate an emergency situation. The user defines the EMERGENCY action by creating a UPB Link that performs according to the user’s desires (see the preceding section on UPB Operations for more details on setting up UPB Links).

You can use the TIM-01 in place of a Web Mountain SPIM-01. You must connect a serial cable between the serial port on your computer or server and the serial port at the bottom of the TIM-01. While the timer is in PIM mode, it will continue to keep accurate time, but it will NOT execute any programs or triggers, the Immediate Action buttons will not operate and you can not utilize the Emergency function.
