The John Lewis JLWM1407 washing machine does not reduce time or reach 1200 rpm on the spin/drain only setting because the maximum spin speed for this setting is 1400 rpm. The machine is designed to handle all fabric types except woollens and delicate fabrics in this mode. Additionally, the time reduction feature applies mainly to washing programs rather than spin/drain cycles, which are designed to ensure effective water removal rather than time efficiency.

Our machine is 6 months out of guarantee. The 'delay start' button flashes on and I can't get rid of it to be able to select any of the other options.
How do I cancel it? And can you recommend engineers local to Bristol who will know the machine?
