A Victa lawnmower coughing while operating could be due to several possible issues:

1. Blocked Fuel Supply – Check the fuel line for blockages.
2. Dirty Air Filter – Clean or replace the air filter.
3. Blocked Vents in Grasscatcher – Clean the vents to ensure proper airflow.
4. Build-up of Grass and Dirt – Clean accumulated debris under the baseplate.
5. Blades Out of Balance – Replace both blades.
6. Fuel Cap Not Venting Properly – Loosen the fuel cap slightly to check if venting improves.
7. Engine Wear or Seizure – If the problem persists, contact a Victa Authorized Service Centre.

These steps may help identify and resolve the issue.
