POWER SOURCE This AM/FM STEREO CD Cassette Recorder operates on 8 x ‘LR14’ (‘C’) batteries (not included) or from AC 120V~ 60Hz line power supply. A. BATTERY OPERATION Remove the Battery Door. Following the polarity diagram as shown in the battery compartment insert 8 x ‘LR14’ (‘C') batteries then replace the Battery Door.
CD PLAYER OPERATION Note: This player not only plays commercial CDs but also plays self-compiled CD-R/RW discs. 1. Set the Function/ Power Switch (# 19) to "CD" position. The player will display “- -”. 2. Open the CD LID by pressing the CD OPEN Button (# 3). Carefully place an audio CD, with its label side upward, in the CD compartment and close the CD Door.
Note on CD-R/RW discs - Because of non-standardized format definition/ production of CD-R/RW, playback quality and performance are not guaranteed. - Manufacturer is not responsible for the playability of CD-R/RW due to recording conditions, such as PC performance, writing software, media ability, etc. - Do not attach a seal or label to either side of the CD-R/RW disc.

CASSETTE TAPE OPERATING TIPS 1. High quality tapes are recommended to obtain maximum quality reproduction from recordings. 2. Tapes with playing time of 120 minutes (C-120) are not recommended because they contain thinner and longer tape that has a greater chance to malfunction and jam, which may damage the cassette mechanism.
