Once the customer has been added then click the Company Name to add a
location and hardware key for the customer. Enter a Location Name; the
name should be a meaningful description of the location where the SV8100
will be installed. For example the site may be a head office, southern office
or the name of a town /city it is installed in.
Enter the Hardware Key Code, when the hardware key is entered into the
LMS, it should be entered as a complete 12 digit number without any spaces
or hyphens. The hardware key can be found in several different places:
Printed on the box that the CCPU is shipped in.
Printed on the circuit board on the CCPU.
By pressing the feature then 3 on a keyset.
In PCPro by connecting to the CCPU and going into the Communication /
Feature Activation menu.
Connect to WebPro and from the home page click feature activation.
Once you have entered the hardware key then click Save. Note, it is not
necessary to enter a hardware or software version. The newly added
location will appear at the bottom of the window. At this point if there was
another location to add for this customer then you can simply repeat the
procedure.
