Therefore, pay attention to such burrs in the case of preforming repair of this system. Please use enough caution not to see the beam directly or touch it in case of an adjustment or operation check.

KD-SH99 3 7 63 1515 0 Preventing static electricity 1.Grounding to prevent damage by static electricity Electrostatic discharge (ESD), which occurs when static electricity stored in the body, fabric, etc. is discharged, can destroy the laser diode in the traverse unit (optical pickup). Take care to prevent this when performing repairs.

KD-SH99 3 7 63 1515 0 Disassembly method Front panel assembly Removing the front panel assembly (See Fig.1) Press the release button in the lower right part of the front panel assembly to unlock. Remove the front panel assembly in the direction of the arrow.

Remove the stator fixing the CD mechanism control board and the damper bracket (To remove the stator smoothly, pick up the center part).

KD-SH99 3 7 63 1515 0 < Service mode > The menu in the service mode can be switched with UP/DOWN. The menu selected by the SEL button input is executed. The ordinary mode "UP" + "DOWN" + VR counterclockwise rotation.
