(Example) DVD player Set-Top Box If your external device has a S-video terminal, S-VIDEO connection is recommended for higher quality picture. AV3 and AV4 can be connected to the equipment with either Component or Composite output.

When this output terminal is connected to an external television with a 75 Ohm terminal, the same image from composite (AV1~4), or S-Video, or RF signal can be displayed to the external television.

Only one cable is used to transmit all video/audio/control signals, which creates easy connection. Moreover, those digital signals can produce high quality data without any degradation.
