Self Diagnosis Display

Display Informs that...
Not enough free space Not enough free space for saving files
Corrupted file The file is corrupted
Paper error The paper is insufficient.
Printer error The paper is caught in the printer.
Ink error Ink is low.
Wrong error The file is wrong.
USB transfer error The error is occurred while transferring data.
Low battery Battery is low.
Holding the key The hold key is locked.
Card error The memory card is corrupted.
Not formatted Format the memory card.
Write error Failed to write.
Read error Failed to read.
Not supported format The format is not supported.
Write protected Memory Stick is protected to write.
MPEG decoding error The video file is corrupted.
If these instructions do not solve your problem, contact your
nearest Samsung dealer or authorized service center/personnel.
Symptom Possible Causes
No power is supplied The power is not connected properly
The battery is dead
The battery is too cold
The DATE/TIME is not set
DATE/TIME is wrong
Focus is set to manual mode
Focus does not adjust automatically Recording was done in a dark place
Lens is covered with condensation
Memory stick is in wrong position
The Memory Stick will not
load properly Something is stuck in the Memory Stick slot

Action
Check the space of internal memory or the Memory Stick.
Delete the corrupted file.
Check the paper in the printer. If there is no paper, insert paper.
Check that paper is caught in the printer. Pull out the caught paper.
Check if the ink or toner is low.
Check that the file is JPEG.
Disconnect the USB cable and connect it again.
Charge the battery pack or connect the AC Adapter.
Unlock the hold key and operate the CAM.
Format the Memory Stick or replace it with a new one.
Format the Memory Stick.
Check the memory space or format the memory.
Delete the file.
The AVI or JPEG file that is not supported. Check the supported file
on the page 29.
Unlock the Memory Stick.
Delete the corrupted file.
Measure
Connect the AC adapter properly, page 23
Replace the dead battery pack
Warm up the battery or move to warmer place
Set the DATE/TIME, pages 88~89
Set focus to AUTO
Use strobe or lit the place
Clear the lens and check the focus
Insert the Memory Stick properly, page 33
Clear the Memory Stick slot

Touche Hold La touche Hold est verrouillée.
Erreur de carte La carte mémoire est altérée.
Non formatée Formatez la carte mémoire.
Erreur en écriture Impossible d'écrire.
Erreur de lecture Impossible de lire.
Format non pris en chage Le format n'est pas pris en charge.
Protection en écriture La carte Memory Stick est protégée en écriture.
Erreur de décodage MPEG Le fichier vidéo est altéré
Si ces instructions n'apportent aucune solution à votre problème,

Action
Vérifiez l'espace disponible sur la mémoire interne ou sur la carte Memory Stick.
Supprimez le fichier altéré
Vérifiez la quantité de papier dans l'imprimante. S'il n'y en pas, insérez du papier.
Vérifiez s'il y a du papier coincé dans l'imprimante. Dégagez les feuilles de papier coincées.
Vérifiez le niveau d'encre.
Vérifiez si le fichier est au format JPEG.
Débranchez le câble USB et rebranchez-le.
Vérifiez le bloc-pile ou branchez l'adaptateur CA.
Déverrouillez la touche Hold pour utiliser le CAM.
Formatez la carte Memory Stick ou remplacez-la.
Formatez la carte Memory Stick.
Vérifiez l'espace mémoire ou formatez la carte mémoire.
Supprimez le fichier.
Les fichiers AVI ou JPEG ne sont pas pris en charge. Vérifiez le format
de fichier pris en à la page 29.
Déverrouillez la carte Memory Stick
Supprimez le fichier altéré.
Solution
Connectez l'adaptateur CA correctement, voir page 23
Remplacez le bloc-pile mort
Réchauffez le bloc-pile ou déplacez-le dans un endroit plus chaud
Réglez la date et l'heure, voir pages 88-89
Réglez la mise au point sur AUTO
Utilisez la lampe-éclair ou éclairez l'endroit
Nettoyez l'objectif et vérifiez la mise au point.
Insérez la carte Memory Stick correctement, voir page 33.
Dégagez le compartiment de la carte Memory Stick.
