Emergency message settings
• Emergency alerts: This device is designed to receive Wireless
Emergency Alerts from the Commercial Mobile Alert Service
(CMAS), including Presidential Alerts, Extreme Alerts (extreme
alerts), Severe alerts (severe alert conditions), and AMBER
Alerts (child abductions or missing persons). Presidential Alerts
cannot be disabled. All alerts are enabled by default
(checkmark shown).
• Emergency notification preview: Listen to an example of a
Emergency Alert tone (and vibration, if enabled). The
Emergency Alert tone plays at the same volume as your call
ringtone.
• Vibrate: Configure vibration for Emergency Alerts.
• Alert sound: Plays a tone for Emergency Alerts.
• Alert reminder: Choose whether, and at what interval, your
device plays a sound to notify you of an Emergency Alert after
the Emergency Alert tone has stopped.
Spam message settings
• Spam settings when enabled, allows you to configure
available spam settings such as:
• Add to spam numbers: allows you to manually enter and
assign a phone number as being sent from a spam source.
• Add to spam phrases: allows you to assign a specific text
phrase as belonging to a spam message. Ex: Dear friend.
• Block unknown senders: when active, automatically blocks
incoming messages from unknown sources or blocked
numbers.
