If the Cateye Micro Wireless CC-MC200W sensor is not picking up data after changing the batteries, try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Check Battery Installation – Ensure the new lithium battery (CR2032) is installed correctly with the (+) side facing upward.
2. Verify Sensor Distance – Move the computer closer to the sensor and turn the front wheel. If the sensor signal icon flashes, the issue may be due to transmission distance.
3. Ensure Proper Alignment – The computer must be positioned so that its back is facing the sensor.
4. Check for Interference – Avoid placing the device near TVs, radios, PCs, motors, or other wireless devices, as these may cause signal disruption.
5. Replace Exhausted Batteries – If the battery icon is still displayed, consider replacing the battery again in both the computer and the sensor.
If the issue persists, review the setup and settings of the computer and sensor.
