  • Page 3 This maintenance manual describes how to perform hardware service maintenance for the Toshiba Personal Computer Qosmio X300, referred to as the Qosmio X300 Series in this manual. The procedures described in this manual are intended to help service technicians isolate faulty Field Replaceable Units (FRUs) and replace them in the field.

    1 Hardware Overview Features The Toshiba Qosmio X300 a full size notebook PC based on the Dual Core and Quad Core Processor, providing high-speed processing capabilities and advanced features. The computer employs a Lithium Ion battery that allows it to be battery-operated for a longer period of time.

The Test & Diagnostic Program is stored on the T&D diskettes. The program consists of a series of tests that run automatically when the Diagnostics Program items are selected and executed.
