IMPORTANT
Electrical requirements:
Please ensure that the voltage shown on the rating plate of your appliance corresponds with your
household electricity supply which must be AC (Alternating Current).
Appliances are supplied with a fitted plug.
If the electrical sockets in your home are not suitable for the plug fitted to this appliance, the plug
should be removed and an appropriate one fitted.

Filling the Water Tank
IMPORTANT: Never put anything in the water tank except distilled or cold tap water. Clean-
ing detergents or any other spirit-based liquid may be dangerous, could damage the appli-
ance and will invalidate the warranty.
Use distilled water in hard water areas to prevent lime scale building up, and prolong the life
of the appliance.
Warning: Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet before filling. Never attempt to fill
the unit under a tap, always use the Filler Cup (11) provided
Hold the unit vertically and remove the Water Tank
Cap (2) by pulling the top and allowing it to hinge
freely.
Add water using the Filler Cup (11). Do not overfill.
Replace the Water Tank Cap by pushing gently up-
wards until it clicks to lock in place.

Indicator LED (6) will now illuminate.

to reach its operating temperature.
• The Handy Mop is now ready to use.
Note: On initial use some water will come out of
the Steam Exit Nozzle (8). This is normal.
• To produce steam, press the Steam Trigger (5).
Initially this may require 6-10 rapid presses
7
before steam exits the Nozzle.
• Once steam is produced, it will continue with
the natural vertical or horizontal movement of
the Handy Mop, this is achieved by applying
light pressure to the surface and maintaining
constant movement. If more steam is required
the Steam Trigger can be pressed at any time, by
pressing intermittently you will note a rhythm for
maintaining a continuous flow of steam without
