Using Google Search

Use the Google Search box to manually search for a term on
both your device and on the Web.
1. Launch the Google Search box.
2. Press
Settings
search area.
• Searchable items configures the items that are searched
against. Example: Google, Amazon, Apps, Browser, Contacts,
etc.

3. Place a check mark on those items you wish to include
in your search.
4. Enter a search term and tap a match from the list of
suggestions, phone search results, or previously
chosen search matches. Once touched, the item opens
in the appropriate application.

into your device's microphone to enter a search term.
Note: The Voice Actions feature recognizes Google commands
and search terms. The S Voice application is a natural
language recognition application that not only takes
commands but also lets you ask questions. For more
information, refer to "Using S Voice" on page 82.
