Cleaning the drum unit
If you have the following print quality
problems, clean the drum unit as follows.

Press the front cover release button and
then open the front cover.

Close the front cover of the machine.
The machine starts warming up, wait
until it finishes warming up before going
on to c.

Troubleshooting and routine maintenance

Pull out the MP tray (1) and unfold the
MP tray support flap (2).

Put a blank sheet of A4 or Letter sized
paper in the MP tray.

While pressing and holding down
Clear/Back, press d until
DRUM CLEANING is displayed on the
LCD.
f
Press Mono Start or Color Start. The
paper will feed into the machine to start
the drum cleaning.
