To fix a Jensen AWM968 DVD player that spins DVDs and CDs but shows an error, try the following steps:
1. Check Disc Compatibility – Ensure the disc type is supported (CD, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD, DVD+R, DVD-R, etc.). 2. Inspect the Disc – Check for scratches, dirt, or damage. Clean the disc if necessary. 3. Try a Factory Original CD/DVD – Some copied or protected discs may not work. 4. Ensure Proper Disc Insertion – Insert the disc label-side up. 5. Check for Firmware Issues – Restart the unit and try a different disc. 6. Verify Connections – Ensure all cables are properly connected. 7. Reset the Unit – Power off and unplug the device for a few minutes, then restart.
If the issue persists, seek service from a qualified technician.

Thank you I’ve done all that a disc works one day and then hours later won’t play spins and says error!
Only think left is firmware, to try!
Once all that has been tried anything else?
Need help?
