Resetting the WiFi/Router to Maretron
Configuration
In addition to the parameters that must be set by the user described in paragraph 2, several
parameters are set by Maretron at the factory. If the factory settings are ever lost, then you can
reset the WiFi/Router and program the factory setting by following the instructions outlined in
the following paragraphs.
3.1
Physically Reset the WiFi/Router
On the bottom of the WiFi/Router is a small red button. Hold it down until the lights at the top of
the router turn yellow (about 5 seconds). You router has now been reset to the original factory
configuration, and now needs the original Maretron configuration to be restored.
3.2
Opt out of the Cisco Connect
When you reset the WiFi/Router to the Cisco factory default configuration, it will ask you to
install the Cisco Connect software. We will not be using the Cisco Connect software to
configure the router, so click "Continue with an open and unsecured network". We will be
securing the network ourselves in the following steps, so don't worry.
