Quantum Scalar 50 User's Guide
FA Log File
The failure analysis log file (FA log) contains diagnostic information used
to troubleshoot problems with the library. This file can only used by
Quantum Customer Support. Have this file available prior to calling
Quantum Customer Support.
Note:
It is recommended to turn the library offline prior to collecting
an FA log.
To retrieve a FA log file:

Retrieve
A window displays with the status of the FA log download process.
This will take several minutes. Once the command to retrieve the
library FA log has completed, click the
the file to your local computer.
The
page displays the last fifteen tasks that have been performed

displays the task window whether it is still in progress or finished.
