GENERAL INFORMATION

This manual has been compiled by Draper Tools and is an integrated part of the product with which it is enclosed
and should be kept with it for future references.
This manual describes the purpose for which the product has been designed and contains all the necessary
information to ensure its correct and safe use. We recommend that this manual is read before any operation or,
before performing any kind of adjustment to the product and prior to any maintenance tasks. By following all the
general safety instructions contained in this manual, it will ensure both product and operator safety, together with
longer life of the tool itself.
All photographs and drawings in this manual are supplied by Draper Tools to help illustrate the operation of the
product.
Whilst every effort has been made to ensure accuracy of information contained in this manual, the Draper Tools

    (i.e. red). Fuse covers are available from your Draper Tools stockist. If the fitted plug is not suitable, it should be cut off and destroyed. *The end of the cable should now be suitably prepared and the correct type of plug fitted.

  • Page 7 When starting the compressor for the first time, leave it running for about 10 minutes with the drain cock (A) open (Fig.3). DA25/190 does not have a tap. Instead, run for 10 minutes with a coupling inserted into the connector.
  • Page 8 OPERATION AND USE ADJUSTING THE PRESSURE SWITCH (Fig.5): Note: This is the only operation where it is acceptable to switch the compressor off without using the pressure switch. To decrease the pressure switch, run the compressor up to the desired capacity for the pressure switch to be set.

  • Page 10 MAINTENANCE In order to keep your compressor in good working conditions, we recommend you to perform periodical servicing operations. Before performing any maintenance operation, switch off the compressor and ensure all air in the tank is released.   • Page 11 MAINTENANCE It is advisable to clean all the finned parts of your compressor, so as to keep the cooling system efficient and to ensure a long work life to your machine. OPERATIONS TO BE CARRIED OUT EVERY 2 YEARS: Check the non-return valve and if necessary replace the seal.

    TROUBLESHOOTING USE ONLY ORIGINAL SPARE PARTS, AVAILABLE AT ALL AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTRES. FAULT POSSIBLE CAUSE REMEDY Pressure drop in tank Air leaks at connections Allow the compressor to reach max. pressure allowed. Switch it of and brush a soapy water solution onto all air connections.
