If your TELUS Optik TV box is not turning on, try the following steps:

1. Check Power Connection – Ensure the power cable is firmly plugged into both the digital box and the power outlet.
2. Try a Different Outlet – Plug the digital box into another power outlet to rule out issues with the current one.
3. Restart the Box – Unplug the power cable, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in.
4. Check Remote Control – If using the remote, ensure the batteries are working and press the TELUS STB button before trying to power on the box.
5. Look for Indicator Lights – If no lights appear on the box, it may not be receiving power. Try a different power adapter if available.

If the issue persists, further troubleshooting or contacting TELUS support may be necessary.

Your TELUS Optik TV PVR should allow full PVR functionality on any digital box in your home. If recordings are not showing up on your other sub boxes, possible reasons include:

1. System Restart or Update: If the PVR was recently restarted or updated, the recordings may have been lost or temporarily unavailable.
2. PVR Storage Issues: Check if there is enough storage space on the PVR.
3. Connection Issues: Ensure all digital boxes are properly connected to the network.
4. Software or Firmware Issues: The system may need to be updated or reset.
5. Synchronization Problems: The sub boxes may not be syncing correctly with the main PVR.

Try restarting the PVR and sub boxes, checking connections, and verifying storage availability. If the issue persists, further troubleshooting may be needed.
