TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem
GENERAL
Unit will not
power on.
No/low audio output.
Poor sound quality
or distortion.
TFT MONITOR
No image.
Prolonged image
or improper height/
width ratio.
Cause
Radio fuse blown.
Car battery fuse blown.
Illegal operation.
Improper audio output connection. Check wiring and correct.
Volume set too low.
Speakers damaged.
Only one channel is playing.
Speaker wiring is in contact with
metal part of car.
Mute is activated.
Unauthorized disc is in use.
Speaker power rating not
compatible with unit.
Speaker is shorted.
The parking brake is not engaged.
The "Monitor off"-function is
activated.
Improper aspect ratio setup.

Solution
Install new fuse with correct rating.
Install new fuse with correct rating.
Press the RESET button.
Increase volume level.
Replace speakers.
Check the balance and fader
adjustments.
Insulate all speaker wiring
connections or replace the speaker
cable.
Turn off the Mute function.
Use original disc.
Connect proper speakers.
Check speaker connections.
Stop vehicle in a safe place and
apply parking brake.
Touch the monitor to activate the
display.
Use correct aspect ratio setting.
