Introduction This manual provides reference information for servicing the HP OmniBook 6000. It is for use by HP-authorized service personnel while installing, servicing, and repairing these products. The manual is designed as a self-paced guide that will train you to install, configure, and repair OmniBook 6000 computers.
The HP OmniBook 6000 provides outstanding performance and expandability, in a conveniently portable form. To boot from a CD-ROM or DVD drive in the module bay, insert a bootable CD (such as the Recovery CD ) into the drive, then reboot. Press ESC twice during reboot when the HP logo and prompt appear, then select the CD-ROM/DVD drive as the temporary boot device.
