    Getting Started Using the remote control Inserting batteries Remove the battery cover on the back of the remote control by gently pushing down the cover lock and pulling the cover upwards. Insert two AAA alkaline or equivalent batteries, following the +/- marking in the battery compartment.

    Basic Operations Make sure all necessary connections are correctly made before connecting the unit to the wall socket and turning on the power. The power indicator turns red and the unit is in stand-by mode. Power on/off Press on the remote control (or on the side of the TV) to turn on the power to the TV.

    EPG (Electronic Programme Guide) EPG stands for Digital Electronic Programme Guide. It is supplied by the programme providers and offers information about the programmes to be broadcast. You can access it in digital mode by pressing the EPG button on the remote control. Press the EPG button to display the EPG interface (above).

    Built-in DVD Player Operations Some points about discs The following types of disc can be played on this unit: Region number The region number (Regional Restriction Code) is built into this unit. This unit can play region number 4 DVD video discs. DVD video discs DVD video discs are divided into titles, and the titles are subdivided into chapters.
